I would say that if, in the future, your memory of what you did makes you happy, it was constructive use of time.
Well that's a source of ambiguity isn't it The Turkish h4x0rz, for instance, must be very pleased with themselves now.

Okay, I'm going to Godwinize this thread.
I'm sure that Hitler at some point felt happy about what he did by sending millions of people to their deaths. So I suppose that was a constructive use of his time.

Hey, your perception is your reality. I just hope you find other sources of pleasure besides sending millions of people to their deaths.

nightflier,
I hope you realize I was joking around with the Hitler thing. I do agree with you though that one's perception is one's reality.

Is it possible to be PC and sarcastic at the same time and not be offensive to someone?

Tom, I was joking back. Text is an imperfect form of communication. Like just now, I realize I wrote "pleasure" where I meant "happiness".

Hell, yeah! I remember translating this to spanish for subs way back then, when I was in Uni. I haven't seen it in a while

I watched part of Spaceballs (also with Mel Brooks) yesterday
"That ring is nothing! It's a piece of junk! I found it in a Crackerjack box!"
And then John Hurt ridiculing himself seals the deal
"Not again!!!"
