the screen is able to run 1440x900, but actually runs at 1024x768. that is okay for me.
only the rsync(i hope this is the right terminus) should be altered..
Due to the nature of LCD monitors, you should run your display at the one and only native resolution of your monitor. If it's 1440x900, you need to use that resolution for the best quality picture.
Hopefully the video driver you're using understands and supports that resolution. You might want to ask for help here if you can't get it. If the resolution is supported, the monitor will look right, not stretched and squashed.
