My rc.inetd file is executable, but my inetd service is just not starting automatically for some reason.

It looks like functions-service is supposed to start it, but it's not happening.

Any ideas?

TIA

Well that's like a dozen different scripts for cron and cups etc...what did you do so far to test this...what is not working...did you turn on services during install or go to vasm to turn some things on?..things like cron I think are during install but you should be able to access from command line but may have to exit the window manager.

Okay, I got it worked out after all. Ran vasm, services, etc....How convenient vasm is.

I'm used to slackware, so I keep forgetting about vasm so far.

Vector is very impressive.
