Firefox search/"input" window black
« on: April 17, 2008, 05:30:16 pm »
I feel so pathetic and helpless.  I use Firefox 2.0.0.11 with Aero fox 1.0.5 theme.  I love the 'Xfce-dusk' theme of Vector but when I use it all the windows that I type in whether using forums or google or whatever are black with black lettering.  I can use the dark firefox theme and another theme with Vector and the windows are just fine.  I REALLY like the black Vector theme, easy on the eyes.  Is there a way to make this work?
ChemBook Laptop (it was free) 1.50 GHz 1 gig ram 1024x768 screen Ethernet-cable modem (working on wireless), Vector 5.9 Standard Gold, HD install, NO dual boot--windowsfree system!  prefer Xfce for now

Find a theme that isn't so black?

You might try something in userContent.css.

Maybe:
Code: [Select]
textarea,
input {
   -moz-appearance: none !important;
   color: white !important;
}

That should give you white letters.  You can use "background-color" too.
