I know why birds sing ...

« on: April 19, 2008, 11:35:21 pm »

Hy togehter,
on my VL 5.8 Std box I have Java 1.6.0_5, installed via gslapted from the 5.9 repository.

I want to use the program IFsync (an two-way synchronizer) to have my external HD in sync with my workstation.

When I try to start the program, the Splashscreen blinks shortly and thats it.
If I try from the CL following message is on the screen:

Falcon195:/~/My Programs/IFSyncV3.3.0
falcon:$ java -jar ifsyncV3.jar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/jdesktop/layout/GroupLayout$Group
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.jdesktop.layout.GroupLayout$Group

        at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
        at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
        at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(Unknown Source)

Anybody has an idea what is wrong?
I have on my test-partition VL 5.9 installed and it works.
