Anyone know of anything other than Open Office and KOffice in linux that will display powerpoint slideshows?

Thank you will take a look at several of those today. 
Just looking for something that's not as resource intensive as Open Office or Koffice as I want to use my old laptop  to set up a display.  It will run OO but is very jerky and slow.

Have you tried disabling the Java runtime in OOo? It's needed for some features, but not most, and is a considerably resource hungry component. Turn it off at: Tools, Options, Java and uncheck "Use a java run time..." to disable it.
