Precious Life
« on: May 04, 2008, 10:16:51 am »
Hello,

Yesterday I was reminded of how fragile we really are. On the way to a skating marathon, My son fell asleep at the wheel, and rolled the car we were in. We were all very lucky that none of us were more seriously hurt. I got the most damage with 16 staples to close my head wound besides a scar and a little memory loss I should recover well.
This is sure to slow my VL work down a bit. I can only stand the pain a little while without drugs, and when I take them I am not too coherent.
For anyone that want to see the pics there are some here http://s45.photobucket.com/albums/f59/uelsk8s/?action=view&current=96fd2800.pbw  NOTE: some are kind of graphic.

Im sorry to hear that Uel. Being alive is the most important thing, but be sure to rest & recover both mentally and physically. About 3 weeks ago I had this surgery to ease my pains from an incident I had about 11 years ago. I know what ur goin thru. May I recommend a certain scar gel called Kelo-Cote. Immah about to buy it tomorrow too. Rest and heal mate!

uelsk8s,

I'm sorry to hear about your accident, but I'm glad everyone is basically okay.  I hope your recovery goes well.

You have my prayers and best wishes on a complete recovery with no lasting effects.

It feels like just yesterday that you were telling me about that leg gash of yours, AND NOW THIS.

BTW, glad you shared this with everyone. Helps us to remember the important things in life.

WB uelsk8s,
If you were unconscious for any amount of time, you may have experienced some level of brain injury, in which case recovery could take longer than expected.
