Dang! I'm really glad you and your family got through it with relatively light injuries. I was in a pretty big accident a lot of years ago and one never really forgets it...

Holy Cow!  I feel horrible that I'm just now finding this thread.

Uel! I just don't know what to say.  That is one nasty looking cut as far as I'm concerned. Hope you and your family have a speedy recovery.  I'm just glad no one was "seriously" hurt.
Thanks for sharing.

This is exactly the reason why I feel it is my responsibility as a passenger to keep paying attention. I've been a passenger with really sleepy people twice, once on the way back from a party and once on the way home from a 24 hour day of work in Belgium. I was sleepy myself too, and I don't have a driving license so I couldn't drive either. It was very scary and uncomfortable, these were the scariest 400 or so km's of my life.

I'm glad you can still tell this to us Uel. Hope you all recover soon.

ps> You're right, those pictures are rather graphic  Shocked.

It must have been very frightening. I'm so glad you all made it and didn't have life-threatening injuries.

I hope your pain goes away or hopefully is much diminished already.

A serious accident like that reminds us of how our lives can change in an instant.
