Keyboard layout
« on: May 06, 2008, 08:26:11 am »

Sorry folks, yet another keyboard thread :)

I'm trying to install the UK keyboard but the characters come out all wrong when I type on what should be the appropriate keys. For example, the " and @ symbols are transposed, the pound symbol £ comes out as a #, the # comes out as a / etc.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Colonel Panic.

A quick update; I managed to sort it out, at least for the time being, by changing several of my XF86 settings (I use Vector 4.3) in VASM. I saved the new config file in a different directory as backup.

Fingers crossed that this will keep. :)
