well i have no problem giving up a ck kernel for my wifi. funtionality goes way beyond speed.
cause working on a linux system only makes sense to me, if i can use my wifi.
so the first thing i will do is install the newest kernel, ( i suppose that's the one you displayed).
for the ouput

if i type lsusb - v, i get a lot info;

well the type is rt2573wf, i'm quite sure, and you know why ? cause i opened the usb key to check the chipset.
finding it for windows was also very very hard, on the manufactur website it was not working, so i openend it
and saw that it was a ralink. and from there things went good.
so i'm gonna try to install the 2.6.24.3 kernel.
untill then, keep those legs at rest
