Ran into a problem in VL 5.9 Light.  Abiword-2.6.2 has a dependency of libgfs-1.14.7 which in turn has a dependency of gnome-vfs which does not seem to be in the repos.  Gslapt would not reconcile it anyway.

and a quick look through the repository didn't turn it up either.  will look further.

Package works fine for me on VL 5.9 Standard.  Thanks to budulay for packaging and exeterdad for posting the news.

I can confirm the deps, and the lack of the gnome-vfs package in the repo's.  But oddly installing this abiword package didn't pull any extra deps. Nor did it complain in any way using Gslapt with VL5.9 Standard.  Very odd.  But abiword works great all the same for me here.

Get the following on SOHO B2.4:
Code:
mscott:$ abiword
abiword: error while loading shared libraries: libgnomeprintui-2-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Also got the above dependency errors. I'll work on it more later...

Seems to be only in VL 5.9 Light and Also SOHO 5.9 B2.4 -- They both complain about the Dep issue
will try installing by ignoring them see what happens.
report later.

Went ahead with the install in VL 5.9 Light.. seems to be working ok without the Dep. but have only used it for a few minutes.
any way it installs ok by ignoring the dependancy issue.  This may be confusing to some using Gslapt though. only thing I can guess is that in 5.9 Std. Gnome-vfs is in the ISO but not in the repository.  And it's not in the ISO's of 5.9 SOHO and VL light.

Gnome themselves last I had heard was doing away with gnome-vfs as it was causing them problems with their latest release of gnome.
Cheers!
Dave
P.S. Thanks for the updated Abiword.

I can confirm the dependency issues in Light Beta 5.  I'll try ignoring the deps as Dave did.
