Dreamweaver like program for linux?
« on: May 26, 2008, 01:21:04 pm »
I was curious if there is a dreamweaver type program for linux for constructing web pages. I'd like something for dummies like dreamweaver that is drag and drop and point and click, which will generate the html code for me.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have dreamweaver? I use Dreamweaver 8 using wine. Works like a charm!

Otherwise try this program: http://www.nvu.com/

Kompozer is in the repositories it's the same as NVU. Works great here.

Kompozer isn't just the 'same' as Nvu - it's actually an updated and still-under-development version of Nvu. Nvu has become a stale project. If you want Nvu, go with Kompozer!

Quanta+ is also nice.
