Mirage 0.9.3 for VL 5.9
« on: May 24, 2008, 03:41:26 pm »
Please package Mirage for VL 5.9. I need the lightest possible image editor that can resize pictures, and Mirage seems to be it. The Gimp is way too big for my needs. Mirage was available in 5.8, but it is missing from the 5.9 repositories. Here is the link:

Thank you.

Sorry, we just got home.  Enjoy

Neat little app, BTW.  I think I'm keeping it :)

Thank you!

I'm glad you like Mirage. It is a bit slower than GQView, but it also handles basic editing functions. Moreover, even though Mirage is more powerful than GQView, Mirage's menus are even simpler and easier to use.

Some of the folks who use the computers I maintain are 99.9% computer illiterate, so I really need the no-brainer simplicity of mirage's editing functions to keep the peace around image management and basic editing.

Thanks again. I don't know how to package (yet), so I really appreciate your quick response. Kudos!  ;D

One thing I noticed that I liked right off the bat is by default the image preview fit the window size.  Unlike GQview's default setting.  you can set it to fit window size, but it's a bit slow.  Mirage seems very snappy to me.
