Hello. like the title says I'm only 16 years old. I live in Okotoks, Alberta, just half an hour south of Calgary. I've been using a Mac for the last few years, and I've been wanting to try out Linux. I know the general basics of Linux but I'm not exactly the most proficient user.

Hi Welcome to Vector. I am only 17 years old and quite a newbie to Vector and to Linux in general, too... I live in Chicago (not in the city, but in one of the suburbs around)
Hope you will enjoy Vector.

As George Carlin said in Dogma:
Hook 'em while they're young!
Seriously though, welcome to Vector, I'm new to this distro myself, but it seems to be the only lightweight distro that has a good quantity of solid apps installed with it. I've only played with the Light versions, but they seem to be working great on my older machine, I'd love to see what they could do on a more powerful box.

Me too. I'm really thing of getting a VoodooPC 133. Preferably in a deep blue metallic that matches VL.
OK, not super powerful, but still...

Same here, although it should have been even before but I never got those SuSE CD's. Anyway, FuturDreamz welcome to the community!
