 Huh Apologies in advance for any stoopid questions I will probably ask  Embarrassed  I love linux but sometimes it doesn't like me and finds any excuse to stress me out!!  I have VL installed on an ancient laptop, have to see how it goes yet as I only did it today........

There are no stoopid questions really. but be sure to mention what version of vector you use and some information about your computer(ram,cpu) when posting to help readers undestand more fully

Enjoy your stay with it.. hope it's a long one.  takes some getting use to but it really is a fine Distro sort of grows on you.
