Nevermind, it seems they did something wrong and I can't figure it out. Hmmm, I must figure this out >=o

This script didn't help. Save as xorgmaker.sh, do:
Code: [Select]
chmox +x xorgmaker.sh
Code: [Select]
./xorgmaker.sh

Make sure to run as root.

Code: [Select]
#!/bin/sh

At this point I just need to get 16 bit display to work! Can someone help?

Hmmm, could it be a memory problem? But if Frame Buffer is disabled, what else could it be?

If 15 bit can work, and 24 bit can work, why can't 16 bit work? I don't understand the math here =D

It seems to be loading a module called fb, for Frame Buffer, I thought I disabled that >=|

Let's see if I can.

When disabling all the modules X decides to load them all anyway by default, maybe I should just delete the frame buffer module and see if that works.

My apologies. I alway read the last unread message.  So I've been missing the first post.
I'll shuddap. :)

Your buntu xorg isn't complete enough to analyze.  Could you edit to show the whole thing please?

That was actually the whole xubunttu xorg.conf file, I've since removed xubuntu, now it's just me and VL

At this point from what I've read, a framebuffer may be using 16-bit, is there a way to disable it in X?

Maybe I should submit a bug report and hope it gets fixed?
