Gnash Usability

Has anybody tried Gnash lately? Can you use YouTube? Other sites? Is it useful for most surfing?

I did. Many simple animations in the net worked but I couldn't get youtube to work.  Also seem to have some performance issues. One thing to note is I did a quick compiling, but you can mess with codecs and other variables to make it to play lot of stuff. I didn't make the time to play too much with it though :(
