I want the "Punch The Monkey" banner!! Or at least if the monkey is unavailable, you can use one of those nice "punch the 'politician' " banners, those are always fun Cheesy

Looks good, keep it up .

I was going to mention guys that the website and hosting services incurred some expenses (hosting, email accounts, etc...). In order to keep producing free products for VL, I'll need a little support.

I don't want any donations or anything, just asking that maybe some of you could purchase an MMBD. You'd get a cool multimedia software disc with a manual, and you'd support VL Solutions so it will be easy to work on the new projects. http://www.vectorlinuxsolutions.com/Products/MMBD/multimedia.html

Also, Vector Linux needs some funds to start rolling in so they can advertise in various places. Please consider purchasing a Deluxe CD from the CD store. (You get the MMBD on the second disc and a coupon for 35% off to buy the manual that goes with it if you get the SOHO version.) http://vectorlinux.com/website2/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_op=view_page&PAGE_id=2&MMN_position=12:12

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm in it for the money, 'cause I'm not. It's just that I invested quite a bit of time and money printing, binding, manuals, making cds, working on a new website only to have a few orders. I have quite a few of these MMBDs in stock here, and the little extra I charge that it costs me to make them will help me to just barely break even. I'm willing to invest the time to produce free things for VL, just not the money right now. Thanks for your consideration, I hope you don't take this post wrongly!

I have done even more work on the new Vector Linux Solutions website. Hopefully it looks cleaner and is easier on the eyes. Check it out everyone! http://www.vectorlinuxsolutions.com

I like it! But, to feed your need to tweak, I would suggest improving the "Download Now" button in the skyscraper-image. Too small and colours leave it lost in the mix. Also, the drop down menu for "Products" seems out of place with the smoothness (in terms of appearance and function) with the rest of the page.

$.02...but really does seem to be an improvement over the last version.

Well done!

Okay, I changed the big banner and the button. Hopefully it looks better. I'm not sure what I can do about the drop down menu because I am using an external program for that. But anyway, check out the changes: www.vectorlinuxsolutions.com

Any suggestions are welcome.

"Learn More" button is much better...can actually see it Smiley

Drop-down: I would suggest just not having one as it's not consistent with the rest of the buttons. Let the "Products" button link to a page with an overview page with links to each product. Until you're offering 100's of products where things will easily get buried, it's not necessary to add complexity in navigation...$.06.

Cheers,

It's looking good.

I find the script font at Latest News to look out of place and inconsistent with the rest of the page.

Thanks for the suggestion GrannyGeek. I was planning on using the script elseware but it never happened. I will change it to something that fits a little better. Suggestions are welcome!
