Just built and installed 5.9 Std Gold. Will be adding the multimedia pack for podcasting and such. Plan to install KDE along with some Educational things for my 4year old. Asus M2A-VM HDMI PNY GEfORCE 9600gt 512mb PCIe Corsair 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz (2x1024) AMD A64 X2 5000+ 2.6G WD HDD 320G SATA2 Samsung DVD Burner SATA Ultra Aluminus atx tower case I plan to write something up regarding the small things I ran into regarding installation.  BTW, I can't wait for the 64 bit VL to come out because I may just reinstall to really let this system stretch its legs. As always thanks to everyone involved in such a great release. |

Bought four P3 700MHz Toshiba laptops for £50. Only one worked, but a bit of fiddling around, I now have three working although one doesn't charge its battery. Using Cisco (Atheros) PCMCIA wireless cards and Canon printer on a Axis print server. All works well and very reliable.
