That's a neat wallpaper. B&W photos with select colorings are cool. BTW, is that a statement that VL works great on older hardware? Because that hardware definitely IS old.

BTW, is that a statement that VL works great on older hardware? I thought so...not only is vector great on old hardware but as reliable and simple to use...provideing you have electricity.. that hardware definitely IS old yes and works as well as the day it was purchased.. just use GIMP and resize your images to what is required well...once bitten, twice shy...I do not have gimp installed to this box yet...but.I did purchased a MMBD so not inspired to win one...and upscales are less than interesting as pointed out. I am not much of an artist.. and it took a while to figure out how to add text...but I was excited to have made it that far and wanted to post the results... cheers

awe...but I don't wanna. MOOOM...and these images are mostly 1024 to fit MY screen and the cheapo test cam only does 1600x1200
For the sake of argument (so to speak) an Mtpaint image at 2560x 1600 downsizes to 1600 x1000, A photo at 1600x1200 upsizes to 2133x 1600. A downsized pic from 1600x1200 to 1024x768 and manipulated (to say the least) up sizes to Oh MY God and has to be acceptable as MY wallpaper because I spent 60 bucks on the stupid test cam
Had the contest been simplier I may have entered any one of these and had fun loseing, as it was I entered only to save from zero and lost..lol...enough said cheers

Okay! So you'll post that 1600x1200? I like that Daisy Edit: BTW That may be a $60 cam. But mine which takes larger images and cost much more then that.... Can't take that nice of a picture. Might be a operator handicap too. I dunno

Well...like I said, that daisy exists now as 1024 as I think I discarded the1600, since I run 1024...you may have upscaled it.. but the proof is in the pudding so here are the 1024 upscaled to 1600 and 2133 This SQ cam is almost impossible to focus so some diligence is required to find a shot and best results seem to be at lower resolutions http://files.myopera.com/dsl-o/albums/549126/Daisy1600.jpghttp://files.myopera.com/dsl-o/albums/549126/Daisy2133.jpgI'll see If it remains somewhere as 1600 along with the others cheers

Unfortunately, as expected the sharpness is lost when scaling it back up. If you stumble upon the original sometime, I'd be pleased if I could use it. For personal enjoyment I promise. No need to add the logo. That's not what I'm looking at. There's no doubt this is a VL machine.
