Installed and seems to be running fine. It complains about not being able to find Mozilla, so HTML rendering will be disabled, but the win32 executables I've tried so far work ok.
Looks good....

Who in the heck uses plain ol mozilla anyway? Paul what happens if you symlink /usr/bin/mozilla to /usr/bin/firefox? Or whatever mozilla based browser you may have. That was one trick I learned using LFS.

Not me. I've been using Seamonkey for so long that I don't even remember when I last used a real mozilla. I just tried creating the symlink, then ran Sunbird (win32 version, of course..). This is the result: red2:$ wine sunbird.exe wine: created the configuration directory '/home/red2/.wine' Could not load Mozilla. HTML rendering will be disabled. wine: configuration in '/home/red2/.wine' has been updated. fixme:iphlpapi:NotifyAddrChange (Handle 0x7dbc69e8, overlapped 0x7dbc69cc): stub fixme:msimtf:CActiveIMM_Create ((nil) {08c0e040-62d1-11d1-9326-0060b067b86e} 0x9d8ab4) fixme:ole:CoCreateInstance no instance created for interface {08c0e040-62d1-11d1-9326-0060b067b86e} of class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59}, hres is 0x80004002 fixme:system:SetProcessDPIAware stub! Sunbird ran fine after that., though I got the same screen output repeated a couple of times. One other minor matter - the slack-desc needs updating, still calling it RC1. paul.

It complains about not being able to find Mozilla, so HTML rendering will be disabled... What it really wants is wine gecko: http://wiki.winehq.org/Gecko

Yes, package works, though just in case, I'll mention that I've been upgradepkg-ing each one since RC1.

I can't believe WINE has actually reached 1.0. The next thing I know Duke Nukem Forever will come out, they'll start building fusion power plants, and my robot butler will bring me a glass of port (okay, I don't really drink port but you know what I mean.

True enough, exeterdad. Though if InBev buys Anheuser-Busch, I'm not going to be happy. If they close the main brewery here in St. Louis, a lot of my friends will lose their jobs.
