Hello,
I need to set up my HP PSC 1600.
I got printing working no problem.
I need to set up the scanner....I see no interface to configuring the scanner.

Anyone have an idea on how to do this?
I am using VL 5.9 Standard Gold.
If I can successfully do this, I am purchasing VL 5.9 SOHO....if not....gotta go to another distro.  I really do not want to do that.

Thank,

go to gslapt and install sane-backends you may have to enable test repositories to get the lastest version
then you should be able to set it up using xsane.

let us know if you need more help
