Install VL from bootable USB-stick?
« on: July 07, 2008, 07:03:00 am »
Well, at least that's what I want to achieve;
Get rid of burning CDs and "burn" the ISO directly to a USB-stick, then install from that one.
After some searching, I stumbled upon "unetbootinlinux", which is supposed to be able to do the trick, but fails to find my USB-stick.(Says it's not mounted, whereas it is...)

I also found something on LQ, but that relied on a bunch of windows-apps and since I don't "do" windows, that's a no-go for me.

In short: HELP!

btw: VL5.8SOHO and VL5.9std are the OSs installed on my machines.
