i have vector linux light 5.9 on my old laptop - acer travelmate 737tl.

before i had google os and my touchpad work corectly (i have two scroll buttons under touchpad) and i was able scroll with move on the right site on the touchpad too - this function was only emulate i think, its not hardware support ....

but in vector linux my scroll buttons are like third button on classic mouse ... and i cant fix it ...

can anybode help ?

ps: sory for my english ...

tpconfig cant detect my touchpad ... no synaptic touchpad found .... but hardware spec. said that my touchpad is synaptic touchpad ... under ubuntu everythings went well ... grrrr ... why?

I think I understand your concerns, as I had something similar with my Acer (Travelmate 8000) with Vector 5.8 SOHO.

The only thing I can recommend is find out what keypresses the OS thinks it's getting when you tap the scroll keys (I did it through Xine's "grab" feature) and then try to assign them to a particular function.  I regret I can't help you with that last bit.
