Hi there, trying to set up Ripper X to download a track list - so that when I rip CDs I will have a list of tracks marked by name.  When I try to connect to the CDDB I get the following error message:

Error Code 20
Could not connect to CDDB server

Any ideas/alternatives?

Maybe check if the address is right in the preferences, or maybe a firewall thing?

ripperX comes with an old setting for freedb.org
it must be changed to freedb.freedb.org/~cddb/cddb.cgi

How to access freedb.org

It's really simple:
Configure your CDDB1- or freedb-aware software to point to freedb.freedb.org (Random freedb server) as your CDDB/freedb-server.

All official freedb servers are running cddbp at port 8880 and http at port 80. The path for http-access is /~cddb/cddb.cgi.
