Hi budulay,

Just installed it here on my SOHO machine it's there try again.
for some reason though it's not picking up and downloading the dependencies yet. you'll have to also install WebKit and icu4c then it works fine.

Cheers !
Dave
P.S. I should say runs , working fine may not be accurate as midori itself is in very early stages of developemnet.. but what does work is very very fast compared to say firefox or opera.  maybe not as fast as dillo but very close.

That's strange...  Shocked
I tryed 3 times, but have the same result. Maybe I should somehow adjust repositories in slapt-get...
I manualy get all 4 packages from your vectorcontrib folder(by the way, is it OK, or I shouldn't do it?) and installed them. Have an error:

yes you'll have to install libsexy from the repros also it's a dependency.

I don't know what to tell you about the repros , it worked fine here.

webkit is there also but it's case sensitive you'll have to look for it under WebKit.

Thank you Dave.
after installing libsexy midori works fine.
I like it much more than firefox(because firefox bumps up cpu on my box each time I scroll down). Have no crashes, yet.
I think pretty soon this will be my browser of choise.

Thanks ,
By the way the repro problem could be and i'm only guessing here that you are using one of the mirrors and not osuosl.  That would explain it if it is the case as the mirriors sometimes are not updated immediately.

just a thought.

have a good day and enjoy midori.

This package needs rebuilt. If requiredbuilder didn't pick up the deps, and going over the dep info shows it hasn't, you need to use the ADD="package1,package2,etc" right before calling requiredbuilder in your build script. This package is supposed to pull the three deps you packaged, and none are in the slack-required file.

Hate that Smiley

Strange.  I've been dinking around with requiredbuilder and your midori package, and it DOES list the new deps without any ADD line.

been using midori for few hours today.
It's nice browser, works pretty fast, but it lacks stability. it crashes each 5 minutes. In addition, it couldn't search text on webpages, doesn't automatically open majority of links when I click on them(need to click "Open in new tab"), doesn't have spell check, and... well... doesn't have a lot of useful things.
Also I couldn't get smooth scrolling.

So I think its not quite ready for use now, but it's nice app and I think later versions of it will fairly compete with opera and firefox.

Very fast... I'm impressed.
But, as others have said, it still lacks some functionality. Also seems to handle flash quite well.
Might be good for that quick reading of the news...
