I am using the same adapter. Installed the win2k driver from the cd in ndiswrapper and it works fine.

After installation, I opened control center on the desktop, "network", "wireless", then there is a message "probing for something", then askis if you want to try inserting a driver into ndiswrapper, say yes, insert belkin cd into drive, mount cd, if you're set up is the same as mine in zenity go to /mnt/cdrom/drivers/Win2KXP/rt73.inf.
Works great in light.
