Matt Gonzales, Nader's running mate, is a former democrat (then Green Party, now independent) and was a district supervisor in San Francisco (president of the board, eventually). He decided not to run but his seat was taken by another Green Party member. He gave away his Mercedes-Benz and now uses public transportation.

I think i should shut up now because i need to travel overseas in December and "somebody" must be listening. . .
