Great lead. He seemed genuinely contrite.   Of course, she's dead and he's not.  There is nothing to do. 

As much as we may want to punish him, we should realize that here is a great mind.  Like Stephen Hawking, that mine is now severely constrained.  Hawking manages to project his mind despite its physical limitations.  Perhaps there is some way to put Reiser's mind to use?  Even in prison, his mind has more freedom than Hawking's.  If so, if we can recognize that his talents could benefit society at large, perhaps he could begin now to repay society for his truly awful deed.  All he would need is a computer loaded with Vector and access to the Vector repositories.  Punishing him is one thing.  Punishing ourselves is quite another.
