I see today that Slackware has packaged KDE 4.1 for Slack, any chance we will see it soon for Vector?

If you looked at the change log 4.1 is in testing. There are still some big issues to be solved. The NVIDIA issue is one of them. IMHO it is too soon.

The NVIDIA problem is a bug in the NVIDIA driver. The KDE packages can still be made and NVIDIA users should have full speed once NVIDIA releases a new driver.

I've got to admit I'm a bit slow , but I can't seem to fine kde 4.1 in any of the testing repositories. can you point me in the right direction? Thanks, Dave

Unfortunately, it does not work on VL 5.9. It would be great to have KDE 4.1 built for VL 5.9. Thanks! i think that they are keeping it for the deluxe edition (although that at the time its out,the hype will be over)  better build it yourself..there was a slackbuild somewhere
