080913 libhdate-1.4.12 [VL 5.9]
« on: September 13, 2008, 02:26:46 pm »
I've packaged an updated version of libhdate for VL 5.9.  In addition to the library this package includes hcal, a CLI Hebrew/Jewish calendar app, and hdate, a command line tool to display the current date on the Jewish calendar.  This is release fixes a bug in the Pascal bindings that was present in version 1.4.11.

Package: libhdate-1.4.12-i586-1vl59.tlz
MD5: 5cc02327df71d40b885ff079e91945c5
Package Size: 79K
Installed Size: 550K

Code: [Select]
libhdate: libhdate (C,C++ library for Hebrew calendar, dates, and holidays)
libhdate: LibHdate is a small C,C++ library for Hebrew/Jewish dates, holidays,
libhdate: and reading sequence (parasha). It uses source code from Amos Shapir's
libhdate: hdate package fixed and patched by Nadav Har'El. The Torah reading
libhdate: sequence is from tables by Zvi Har'El.  Two command line utilities are
libhdate: included: hdate displays today's Hebrew date and hcal displays a
libhdate: Hebrew/Jewish calendar.
