I have the Wlan card mentioned above and I have the very same card working under Xubuntu 8.04.1 in another machine.
Installed VL 5.9 on a 500mHz machine to be used as router hoping the Wlan card would work, but so far I wasn't able to get it going. I do know from previous attempts with other distros that the card has an issue with driver and firmware.

I followed the "read this first" post in this forum and found out, that the card is detected and the hardware is listed as present in the ndiswrapper -l command output.

However, I can't get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.
