Vector has packaged the latest version of QT for VL 5.9 and VL 5.9.1.  This is a dependency for the latest generation of KDE applications, some of which are coming soon to a VL repository near you.

Hmm... shouldn't the package basename be qt4 instead of qt? Upgrading to this will bork qt 3 and KDE 3.x.x apps... Shocked



EDIT: Nevermind, just saw on the repo that the name is correct, must have been a typo here... Smiley

Seems there is a bad glib dependency for glib >= 2.6.16. Should be glib2, right? Besides, 2.6.16 is not in the repo... Sad

It's possible Vector didn't post the sources the way he normally does.  I should have caught that.

It's all irrelevant anyway.  As Joe1962 points out this package has issues and is going to have to be replaced.

qt4 is all fixed now. thanks for the heads up! glib2 package is in place now. tested this against smplayer all seemed to pull via gslapt correctly and smplayer worked. Please try again to let me know! Also source is in place
