Running compiz on vector linux livecd
« on: July 23, 2008, 04:47:58 pm »

I downloaded the Vector Linux 5.9 SOHO preview iso to check out this distro and it looks really good.

I am able to start Compiz on my SLack 12 machine with the following commands:

1. compiz --replace dbus png svg decoration wobbly fade minimize cube switcher move resize place rotate scale &
2. kde-window-decorator --replace &

Problem is I cannot run the second one on Vector 5.9 livecd I get:

kde-window-decorator: command not found

So first command works but now I can't resize or move windows(although 3d cube is enabled).
Is there a package I need to install to get this to work? Or maybe a different command?
