Yep, the .desktop file is missing from the package.  I'll rebuild it.

fltk2 is required to build.  Is it required to run as well?  I honestly don't know.

I've uploaded a new package that has the desktop file and icon in the right places.  I did NOT mess with the slack-required file:

Package: dillo-2.0-i586-2vl59.tlz
MD5: ac238876aff90c21d0e267d9d38577d2
Package Size: 470K
Installed Size: 1700K

Not so fast  Wink
This one has the applications and pixmaps directories, but there's nothing inside!

I've had a really bad day so I guess this is par for the course.  OK, third build is the charm.  desktop and icon files are in the proper place and fltk2 is in the slack-required file.

Package: dillo-2.0-i586-3vl59.tlz
MD5: 2a115116c94751a82e78f7eb42b17c7e
Package Size: 479K
Installed Size: 1720K

Try this one and let me know if I've actually got it right this time.

This package is now in patches.  (The VL 6.0 was moved to packages by the developers.)

This third build doesn't actually seem to have fltk2 in the slack-required.
I wouldn't worry about it though as it runs fine without fltk2 installed.

Huh I removed my cached packages, downloaded the package (slapt-get -i -d), checked your md5sum and still no fltk2 in slack-required.
(no dependencies came with it either, and I don't have fltk2 installed)

Then the version in the repo isn't my final build Sad  If it works without then the dependency shouldn't be there. (I had to force it in the build script.)  If all is good with what's in the repo then it's best to leave things as they are.

So dillo2 was statically linked with fltk2?

Well, it is not there in the required list:

Code:
rbistolfi@vector [ ~ ] %slapt-get --show dillo | grep Required
Package Required:   cxxlibs >= 6.0.8-i486-4 | gcc-g++ >= 4.1.2-i486-1,expat >= 2.0.1-i486-1,fontconfig >= 2.4.2-i486-2,freetype >= 2.3.7-i586-1vl59,gcc >= 4.1.2-i486-1,glibc-solibs >= 2.5-i486-5,libX11 >= 1.1.3-i486-1,libXau >= 1.0.3-i486-1,libXdmcp >= 1.0.2-i486-1,libXext >= 1.0.3-i486-1,libXft >= 2.1.12-i486-2,libXi >= 1.1.3-i486-1,libXinerama >= 1.0.2-i486-1,libXrender >= 0.9.4-i486-1,libjpeg >= 6b-i486-5,libpng >= 1.2.29-i586-1vl59,libxcb >= 1.0-i486-2,openssl >= 0.9.8h-i486-1_slack12.0 | openssl-solibs >= 0.9.8h-i486-1_slack12.0,perl >= 5.8.8-i486-4,zlib >= 1.2.3-i486-2

But I can confirm the package works without it. Also I compared the output of ldd /usr/bin/dillo with the contents of the fltk2 library and I cant find a relation. I guess the Dillo devs have the answer.
