081025 mozilla-firefox-3.0.3 [VL 5.8]

Vector has packaged the Mozilla Firefox browser for VL 5.8.  Please note that the package is named mozilla-firefox while the 2.x packages are named firefox.  WHat this means to you is that if you install this with gslapt or slapt-get it will install side-by-side with your old firefox package.  If you want to upgrade (replace) your old firefox package you'll need to remove it first and then install this one.

I found that as well but it requires pango 1.16.4 which is not included as a package.

the download of FF reguires a new version of GTK which I do not feel comfortable downloading an installing.
