Newbie to Vector
« on: November 12, 2008, 08:01:21 pm »
I am Pat Voce from Abilene, TX.

Been using linux almost as long as it has been out.... 1991 or 92.
Been a systems analyst, systems admin and network admin. Retired now
Still believe in command-line as the way to do business, but do admit gui
allows others who just want to use a computer as a tool to do things.

Hate Windoze. Taught computer networking at a local college and gave up
the fight when they quit command line and hands on training.

Enjoy Vector so far. Does everything I need and much more.

Pat
