081107 alsa-driver-1.0.18 [VL 6.0]
« on: November 07, 2008, 12:38:31 pm »

Uelsk8s has build the latest ALSA (sound) driver for VL 6.0 with a 2.6.26.6 kernel and nightflier has built the same driver for the 2.6.26.7 kernel.  If your build of VL 6.0 alpha came with one of these kernels by default then you already have this driver installed.  If you upgraded your kernel on an older build of VL 6 then you may need one of these packages.  The alsa-driver package is kernel specific and will not work with any other kernel version.

After testing either of these packages please take a moment and come back to this thread to let us know how they work for you.
