This package has a dependency on gsb-desktop:

Code:
root:# slapt-get --install seamonkey
Reading Package Lists... Done
Excluding seamonkey, use --ignore-dep to override
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  seamonkey: Depends: gsb-desktop >= 2.22.1-noarch-6vl60
The following packages have been EXCLUDED:
  seamonkey
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.

Done

Somehow I don't think Seamonkey requires GNOME.

That's peculiar.  I compiled it in a clean, new VL 60-STD-AO33 chroot, with only required/veclinux.tlz, required/vlconfig.tlz, required/vlconfig2.tlz, optional/X11.tlz and optional/dev.tlz.  I'm not sure why gsb-desktop-2.22.1-noarch-6vl60 is included in those basic packages, but it is:

Code:
ls VL-60-STD-AO33_chroot/var/log/packages | grep gsb-desktop
gsb-desktop-2.22.1-noarch-6vl60

incognu has built a new package which correctly resolves the dependency issue:

Package: seamonkey-1.1.13-i586-2vl60.tlz
MD5: 21334f556c0fff09eef12dcfb3457c3d

It's now in the VL 6.0 patches repository.
