google desktop search
« on: November 29, 2008, 07:11:08 pm »
Findwild and searchmonkey (and, no doubt others) are great for finding content within a lyx file, but don't seem to search inside an odt file. I don't know if grep does or not. Google Desktop does.  I think it would be helpful to add Google Desktop to the repositories.  It works fine on 5.9 standard and saves one from having to open an odt file to search for specific content.
