A new libxml2 package to fix security issues including a denial or service or the
possible execution of arbitrary code if untrusted XML is processed is available for VL 5.9 and VL 5.9.1.  For more details see:

  http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2008-4225
  http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2008-4226

The updated package is currently in the testing repository.  It will be moved to patches once we have received adequate test reports from users.
