Netgear WG111v2 Wireless Card
« on: December 13, 2008, 02:48:54 pm »

I can't seem to install my wireless card. What commands should I issue to get my hardware configuration so you guys can help me? Thank you very much in advance, I'm awful with wireless :(

It's a dhcp network, a thinkpad a20m, and, as previously mentioned, a Netgear WG111v2 wireless card. I can get a wired network running if you need me to copy the results of lspci etc. over to the post.

I go to VASMCC, to NETWORK, and then to Wireless. It says "Probing modules for hardware", then that window closes and it asks me if I wish to install a Windows driver using ndiswrapper, and I say no, because I don't have one. It says "no wireless cards found".

I'm using VL 5.9 Light Edition.
