081230 hspell-1.0-2 [VL 6.0]
« on: December 30, 2008, 03:30:16 pm »

I've built a new package for hspell, a Hebrew language spell checker which is enchant compatible (usable by AbiWord) and which is required for hocr.  The original package I built had the linguistic analysis (morphology) feature disabled, something I discovered using hspell-gui which can display the linguistic information.  The new package is the same version as the previous one but linguistic analysis has been enabled.

Package:  hspell-1.0-i586-2vl60.tlz
MD5:  bb8c4f29535c30c3c66a3245c4382b81
Package Size:  543K
Installed Size:  700K

Code: [Select]
hspell: hspell (Hebrew spellchecker)
hspell:
hspell: This is version 1.0 of Hspell, the free Hebrew spellchecker and
hspell: morphology engine.  On typical documents Hspell recognizes the majority
hspell: of correct words. However users must take into account that it still
hspell: will not recognize *all* the correct words; The dictionary is still
hspell: not complete.
hspell: License: GNU General Public License (GPL), Version 2
hspell: Authors: Nadav Har'El and Dan Kenigsberg

After testing this package please stop back and let us know how it works for you.
