An updated package of php fixes a number of security issues.  For details see:

http://www.slackware.com/security/viewer.php?l=slackware-security&y=2008&m=slackware-security.423252

Anyone who has php installed on their VL system may wish to upgrade. UPDATE: New packages for VL 5.9/VL 5.9.1 and VL 6.0 are in the testing repositories for each distro. They will be moved to the extra repository once we've had adequate user testing.
