Gslapt error
« on: January 13, 2009, 12:59:56 pm »
Hi everyone, I'm new to Vector Linux and I've been trying out Vector RC1 recently. Everything was working fine until today:

When I tried to run gslapt, I got the following error.

indigo:$ gslapt
Failed to open /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc
/etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc: No such file or directory

I used gslapt earlier today and upgraded all available packages, but when I started gslapt again, it didn't work. Could someone please help me, or tell me how I can re-install gslapt.

Thanks

I just found out there is a problem with the current slapt-get package. It replaces your /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc file with a slackware file.

I'll hook you up with a backup copy of mine so you can restore it to your /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc
