Hi Folks,
Have been Linux user for about 2 years now, mostly PClinuxOS. Must say VL 5.9 Standard performs nicely on this old compaq deskpro, PIII - 700Mhz with 128 Mb ram only.
So far only TinyMe & Puppy did the trick. Had tried Slackware(based) distros before, but you have lowered the migration threshold considerably ! Easy and reasonably fast (considering specs) install. Think I'll enjoy discovering in's & out's  Wink

Welcome to VL!  I think you'll find that VL Light performs better than Standard on your hardware.

Have installed VL 5.9 Light to a 2nd HD and does perform well...
