Yes, 5.9 Light comes with two different kernels, "220.127.116.11" and "ide-18.104.22.168". The first one is the default one. However, if you choose to install the "ide" version, it becomes the first choice. The first three choices on the boot menu all use the same kernel, just different options. For Light, choice #4 is the different kernel (assuming no other OS involved).
If the installer launches using the default kernel, I would recommend UN-checking the optional one during install.
