Hello every one! This is a new release of the Multimedia Bonus Disc. It is built for Vector Linux 5.9. I am trying to change the name to Multimedia Solutions Disc because I don't really like the 'Bonus'. We'll see how it goes. I don't know how many people are interested in this new release, or how many are going to download it because it is for VL5.9 and everything is shifting towards VL6. But at least I have the satisfaction of getting it done, and doing it well. So visit the website www.vectorlinuxsolutions.com, and navigate past my ugly front graphic to read more. It is downloadable from the site. Have fun and Enjoy!

P.S. Future versions are planned for VL6  Wink

dl'd -1.5 - impressive!  Grin  Mounted the iso and scanned what it contained WOW!  I'm not visually oriented but every once in a while I like to try out things like changing a wav file and, so far, few of the picture programs let me do what I want.  You have several that I'll check out as I get time.  Also saw several other programs that I'm anxious to check out.

I'll second impressive...the mmsolutions disc hosts some multimedia solutions...

curious...I do not see brlcad or Qcad on the menu..I seen them in the change log and read a post regarding them as available on the 1.5 mmsd...with so many programs I had not noticed until pointed there that they were not on the menu..will look and see if they are installed but not on the menu or not there at all....I am not complaining just suddenly curious after reading...

also what would be a program to use with a pc cam...I was wondering if I could stream vid from a cam to a window on the desktop to monitor the front door.. I often do not hear the bell in the back office

THANKS....fun so far

When I downloaded the MMBD 1.5 and clicked install everything, I was also disappointed - no QCAD, which was what I was looking for.

Next try: Click expert install and select qcad only, and the program installed and is in the graphics menu.

(running 5.9 SOHO deluxe)
