Hello, I'm a Vector newbie, I've been running Puppy and different variations of of Ubuntu. Vector seems to be a little different so I'll probably be asking lots of questions.  ;D

Hi and Welcome, I think you will find this to be a very friendly little distro.... please fire away and remember it is helpful if you let us know things like which version of vector you are running and what system you are running it on.  Search isn't bad on here and may give you some answers before you ask.  But remember there is no such thing as a stupid question.  If you have a question you might well find that loads of others are wanting to know the same thing as well.

Welcome to Vector!  Like Lyn said I don't think you'll find a friendlier bunch.  Questions are always welcome.
