FYI, xchm fails here. It wants a bunch of libs starting with libwx_gtk2 and libwx_base, while the ones I have start with libwx_gtk2u and libwx_baseu. I think this means that it is built for a non-unicode wxgtk, while I have my own unicode build installed. Didn't the VL builds of wxgtk use to be unicode?

BTW, symlinking them doesn't work, in case you're wondering... ;D

Ok, but wxgtk has always been a complicated beastie, building it for one app can break another. For example, I needed unicode for pgadmin3, but I've read some apps won't work with that.

EDIT: Heh, I'd swear I was replying to a post from Caitlyn, but it dissapeared... ;D

...and it turns out the one we have will work for wxcam so I'm not touching it.

Yep, you were fast in replying to me.  I realized I didn't need to build wxGTK and removed the post  ;D  No sense fixing what isn't broken.

Ah, but then pgadmin3, for one, won't run. Anyway, got chmlib and xchm built with the slackbuilds from the repo and they work here now.

Xchm is working fine in my RC4, slapt-get installed chmlib and wxGTK-2.8.8-i586-2vl60
